Hotel Booking Deadline Extended
3ma10
- 14-17 May 2010 - Loßburg, Black Forest, Germany
Registrations and bookings for 3ma10 in Loßburg are going well so
we managed to extend the hotel booking deadline to the end of April.
If you intent to join us in Loßburg in May, please book your room(s)
as soon as possible and let us know by completing the
3ma10 Registration form.
Loßburg is a town in the district of Freudenstadt in
Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany and in the heart of
the Black Forest. It will be our base for the four days
between 14th and 17th May that will make up 3ma10. The area is a
climatic health resort of international renown and being on
a high plateau within the Black Forest mountains, it is
well-known for its fresh air. The river Neckar, celebrated
for its scenic charm, flows through the south-eastern part
of the district. Its hilly banks are covered with fine
vineyards, orchards, and woods. It is navigable for
1,000-ton barges and is connected to the Danube by a canal.
There are more than 20 hydroelectric power plants on the
river.
We
have chosen the Traube
Hotel and Restaurant in Loßburg as our accommodation
for 3ma10. Fully refurbished in 2008, the hotel has 37
comfortably furnished, non-smoking, en suite rooms equipped
with a range of modern amenities. The hotel also boasts a
spa area which features a sauna, a solarium, a massage
studio and a beauty parlour.
We have negotiated a special inclusive deal for dinner, bed
and breakfast and we'll also have free reserved and
exclusive parking for our 131s. Please see details of our
special 3ma10 hotel deal in the Travel & Accommodation section of our website and ensure
you book your rooms early to avoid disappointment as
alternative accommodation in the area is limited. |

Itinerary
for the 4 days of 3ma10 is still very sketchy. For the first time
this year we propose to have
"themed" days and drives. So unfinalised plans so far are:
Friday
14th May: Mountains day with a visit to
Feldberg and/or
Schauinsland.
Saturday
15th May: Water day with visits to
Triberg waterfalls,
Titisee,
Schluchsee and possibly even the
Rhine Falls in Switzerland.
Sunday
16th May: Car museum(s) day. We have a choice of the
Marxzell, the
Unimog Museum or the
Schramberg and of course we don't have to only visit one of
them!
Monday
17th May: Black Forest day when we'd be doing something
typical for the Black Forest area with possibly a visit to a brewery
or have a gastronomic specialties day.
We are very
much looking forward to 3ma10 and to meeting all of our friends from
the previous three 3ma meetings. We are of course also looking
forward to making lots of new 3ma friends at 3ma10.
If you are joining us for the 3ma in 2010 please complete the
3ma10 Registration form.
