26 February 2007 - Gentlemen, book your rooms
Bookings
for the 3ma are progressing steadily but the end of February is upon us and
the reserved hotel rooms will be released to the thousands of tourists that
always descent on the Southwest areas of Ireland every Spring.
We have
chosen the Southwest of Ireland with its unspoilt and rugged landscape and
great driving
routes for the 3ma as we believe it's an ideal location for 131 owners to
enjoy driving their pride and joy. The abundance of natural beauty in this
corner of Ireland makes it very popular with tourists from all over the
world and hotels in the area get fully booked months in advance. We still
have some rooms held at our chosen hotel, the
Heights
Killarney so please book your rooms now if you haven't already.
To book
one of the reserved
rooms at the special 3ma rate of
€55
(Euro) per person per night for dinner, bed and breakfast, you must call the
Heights
Killarney hotel
on +353 64 31158
and ask to speak to either Theresa
Collum or Mary.
Please
make sure you mention that you are booking for the "Fiat classic car
event in May".
If you
are unable to commit just yet but hope to be able to join us, please let us
know and we might be able to extend the reservation of a few rooms. For
assistance with your hotel booking in Killarney or if you need any
assistance or suggestions for an overnight stay in Limerick, please contact
us by email at
travelacc@131mirafiori.com
If you've
already booked your stay and if necessary your ferry crossing, then have a
look on the
www.131mirafiori.com website forum and join one of the convoys which are
being organised by a number of attendees to the 3ma. If there isn't a convoy
from your part of the world, then post your route and travel date and time
on the forum and start a new convoy. There's something very pleasurable and
even romantic to driving in a convoy of similar cars and when those cars are
131s it's just pure passion!
We are looking forward to a lot of motoring
passion during the 3ma and we hope that you will be able to join us.
