This is the third annual event of its type in which is becoming a fairly full annual calendar for Irish Italian car fans. This was by far the most successful event that I've attended if numbers of cars attending is a measure. There were over 40 Italian cars present and I heard a figure of 51 quoted by the organisers. Lancias, Fiats and Alfas were in abundance and a few other nice classics turned up to wish us well. The Mayoress of Tiperary town cut the ceremonial ribbon before the off and Andrew from Irish Vintage Scene was in attendance to record the event for a future issue.

Breakfast before we left, magnetic plaques to remember the event by and a carvery dinner sandwiched a 120km scenic run -  Unfortunately we didnt see much of the scenery as the fog closed in on the mountain but that didn't dampen any spirits. No mechanical problems left a good taste in everyone's mouth with promises to do it all again next year. Here are some of my pics from the event.  Smiley

Kev

Very nice pictures. The Red Alfa 156 GTA that is in many of the pictures belongs to my cousin who lives in Tipperary. He also together with his Father have a mint 96 155 TS in Red and a Silver 93 Thema Turbo. This Italian Car thing is obviously in the Genes  Grin Cheesy

Hi Enzo - Glad you liked the pictures.

From what I heard it was a replica, but it sounded wonderful - Apparently it had an Alfa Romeo engine fitted although I don't know which one. It may have been a "Hawk" replica  Smiley

I can try to find out more information if you are interested....

Loads Bobby - Tom is a big fan of Fiats but can't attend as many events as he would like - A young family.

Here are a few from our Classic Fiat weekend in Galway/Mayo in 2008. The 124 has great lines... Smiley
