They last longer than standard plugs and do not need re-gapped, so I guess that is a bonus. Technically you should get improved detonation, but whether you will notice the difference is debateable.

I can confirm that the Bosch Super-4 WR56 are the correct heat rating for the 131 Sport as they are equivalent to Champion RN6Y. Personally I would prefer the Bosch Super-4 W56 as they'll produce a stronger spark. The "R" in spark plug numbers usually stands for "Resistor" and it's there to reduce radio interference. With good quality suppressed HT Leads there's no need for resistors in the plugs.

I have the Bosch Super-4 W56 plugs fitted to my Lancia Gamma and they are very good indeed and certainly worth the money (although I got them for a lot less than the ebay price above).

My 131 has special Champion plugs fitted at the moment but I may be trying the Bosch Super-4 in the future. Many years ago I decided that the Fiat twin cam engine didn't like Bosch spark plugs (W200T30 where then suggested). While the plugs would be fine for a while they didn't last more than about 1000 miles while the Champion plugs lasted 6000 miles without problems. ?

So, for the short answer to your quaestion, yes they are good plugs but you may be able to get them for less.

Get them without the R as this is to stop back feed on injection ecu's but they dont last longer or give a better spark, the technical reason for the 4 electrodes is to give the spark a choice if one is too hot or fouled as a spark will not split but will choose the path of least resistance  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
