Wow! Amazing stuff there! That x1/9 abarth isn't real correct? Far as i know there were four of them. 3 are in private collections in Japan, and one is in Milan right now for resto. That must have been a joy for you to be around such amazing cars. Thanks for sharing the photos with us!

Ahem...

Without wanting to sound negative I feel I must just say a few but hopefully well chosen words about Guy and his cars.

I have seen myself both genuine and reproduction cars at Guy's establishment...
both types advertised as 'original Abarths'.

Now there could be two trains of thought going on here.

1, He believes them to all be original.

2, He wants you to believe them all original.

I'm trying not to be controversial here but I just felt this needs to be said...bearing in mind his cars when advertised are always priced as genuine.

He was a successful Rally driver for Polski FIAT back in the 70's.

I've known Guy for about 10 years now and I would say that he is a very knowledgable, charismatic, enthusiastic and humourous person.... a good bloke to bump into at Abarth events.

Whether you feel the same may depend on if you have had business dealings with him.

Like I said I didn't want to sound negative, just trying to give an impression based on what I myself and friends know.

During my visit Guy was very clear about which was real and which were replica's.
I cannot say anything negative in that direction myself Smiley Smiley

I didn't ask Mark, I expect that one is eventually for sale. This was the interior!

Yes quite right Albert, like I said not negative...just whats happened in the past.

In time people change, I like to think that we all learn from experience.

Some of us have more experience than others  Wink

Mike Zollo might be selling his red & stripey car ( the one from the pics ).

Its not the first time he's sold a good clean 3P, this was his until a couple of years ago....
